In 2013, the French Red Cross and the Groupe SEB Foundation created the “welcome pack” project to help vulnerable and socially isolated people living in the Red Cross social housing projects.
This project consists of distributing kits made up of new Groupe SEB products (stoves, pans, kettles, coffee machines, irons and vacuum cleaners) to help people settle in their accommodation or join a collective establishment under better conditions.
Thus, 530 kits were donated to more than 1,000 vulnerable and socially isolated people living in 17 social housing projects from the Red Cross.
In 2014, the Groupe SEB Foundation renewed its support to this project: 420 additional kits will be offered to people accommodated by the French Red Cross.
In total, almost 7,000 products are given with this partnership!
