Groupe SEB held an Analyst Day on 1st October at the Vernon site. The objective of this event was to give financial analysts monitoring the SEB share a more precise view of the Home cleaning business unit within the Group.
Organised by the Financial Communications and Investor Relations department, with the involvement of Cyril BUXTORF, then Senior Vice-President, Home & Personal Care, Bernard DUGELAY, Marketing Vice-President Home Care, Jean-Pierre SOULIE, Director of Industrial Operations, Home Care and Director of the Vernon site and their teams, this one-day event was a real success..
15 financial analysts attended the event to gain a better understanding of the vacuum cleaner market and of the Group’s strategy in this sector.
During the day, Cyril BUXTORF presented the home cleaning market, the main achievements of the Group over the past five years and the medium-term objectives. There followed a presentation by Bernard DUGELAY on the marketing strategy and then a contribution from Jean-Pierre SOULIE on the industrial policy for home cleaning. The participants then visited the Vernon factory, as well as the design office and the laboratory.
This Analyst Day enabled the analysts to gain a better understanding of the issues and opportunities of this business unit and to have a clearer view of the Group’s industrial operations.
Initial feedback has been very positive and reflects a better understanding of the Group’s business model and of its potential for long-term growth in Home cleaning, even though it is currently in the position of market challenger.
