A benchmark brand on the coffee market, Krups innovates and promises a new fully automated expresso machine
The result of 6 years of research, the very latest expresso machine, the Krups Barista, makes it possible to make exceptional coffee by reproducing the movements of the top specialists. This expresso adapts the consistency of the ground coffee and the amount of coffee required so as to always guarantee a perfect coffee:
In addition, in the face of increasing consumer enthusiasm for drinks that combine milk and coffee, Barista prepares delicious hot drinks, cappuccino and other milky drinks with a minimum of constraints and high quality milk froth. Hence, it provides an exclusive “One-Touch-Cappuccino” function for a perfect cappuccino and unequalled hygiene thanks to the automated cleaning programme for the spray nozzle.
And to fulfil the desires of all the family at all times, Barista proposes up to eight customisable menus: recipe programming according to the parameters selected, with the possibility of optimising the request (strength of the coffee, volume of the water and temperature).
Launched in September 2011 in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France, it will gradually be sold in other countries in 2012.

Barista has quickly become the preferred option in Germany for its quality taste and for the ease with which it can be used and maintained. Barista is at the top of the rankings of the tests published in the Guter Rat magazine on practical life, in the consumer ETM Test Magazine and in the Coffee magazine for expresso enthusiasts. It even won the “Kücheninnovation des Jahres 2012” prize at the Ambiente Trade Fair in Frankfurt.
Moreover, it received German TÜV certification that recognises its safety, sustainability and equality.
