Aware of the lack of accommodation in the Lyon metropolitan area, the association LE FOYER NOTRE-DAME DES SANS ABRI has decided to build a new accommodation center dedicated to unemployed, isolated women in difficulty and/or victims of violence, with or without children. The challenge is to be able to accommodate 105 vulnerable women, in a residence of 56 units, and to offer them a safe space, combining private and collective spaces. In order to promote social diversity, the kids playground and micro-crèche will be open to local children. 
Construction work has already begun and the first residents are expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2024.

The Fonds Groupe SEB is contributing to the financing of this new center, and will equip the housing units to enable the residents to move in.
