Bernd brings with him a wealth of experience acquired within Philips Group since 1990, where he held various positions including Sales, Marketing, Innovation, Strategy and Product Development, at both regional and global level.
He took notably the responsibility for the DACH market as General Manager of the Home and Personal Care business. In 2019, he became General Manager of Domestic Appliances reporting to the CEO of Philips, with global responsibility for kitchen appliances, coffee, linen, floor and air care. He was promoted in 2021 to Chief Business, Innovation and Strategy, member of the Philips Domestic Appliances Group Executive Committee, where he led the transition of the business outside the Philips Group.
Bernd holds an engineering degree and a Master of Business Administration “One/MBA” from Rotterdam School of Management.
He joined Groupe SEB in November 2023. He is appointed Executive Vice-President, Greater Europe, member of the Executive Committee.
