VOISIN MALIN
Voisin Malin was created to respond to the isolation experienced by residents of priority neighborhoods who lack empowerment in their living environment.
The organization works to instill confidence and fight against isolation in working-class neighborhoods by harnessing the talent of “voisins malins” (“smart neighbors”) and their ability to create high-quality relations with their peers through information, training and translation services and any services that are useful to the inhabitants of their neighborhood.
The Groupe SEB Fund supported Voisin Malin in the development and recruitment of new “smart neighbors” in Villeurbanne, where the organization set up activity in March 2017 as part of the Territoire Zéro Chômeur initiative.
The organization’s new project is to carry out an information and awareness-raising campaign with the inhabitants of Villeurbanne by their peers (the “smart neighbors”) on the importance of health and balanced diets and physical activity for young people.
The Groupe SEB Fund is providing financial support for the new door-to-door campaign fostering access to healthy food for everyone.
